This event has been thrilling guests since 2004 with attractions that are sure to scare even the heartiest of souls. There are five haunted houses for guests to  experience including Apocalypse Z, Bloodmare Manor, Psycho Circus in 3D, Grim and The Abandoned. To cap off the experience Monster Midway is located when you exit the haunted houses, where you’ll run into ghoulish characters and other types of entertainment. Haunted Overload is an outdoor trail that embraces a dark and eerie atmosphere, drawing inspiration from folklore and local legends too.  Over the years the haunt has been recognized nationally for being an exceptional haunted attraction, and is currently in the running for USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards for Best Haunted House/Attraction.  Visitors are encouraged to buy tickets online in advance.

Nightmare New England, Litchfield
Halloween fans seeking adrenaline-pumping experiences and being scared in a controlled environment will find plenty of thrills and chills at Nightmare New England.  This event features a collection of haunted houses and attractions each with its own unique theme and terrifying element, including the new mind-mending Nightmare in 3D, the medical mishaps of Asylum 47, The Colony with its grit and gore, and their mile-long haunted hayride taking you into the deep dark depths of the woods. Visitors are encouraged to buy tickets online in advance.

Salisbury Woods Haunted Barn and Trail, Salisbury
The quiet and picturesque town of Salisbury in central NewHampshire is the backdrop for this frightening and spooky Halloween experience. This event, now in its 11th year has evolved into a premier haunt attracting guests from all over New England. The walk through haunting is set deep in the dark woods of town. Between special effects, lights, props and sounds and actors this event gives guests plenty to scream about. For those who would prefer a little less on the fright, they’re offering a lite fright night: all the effects but no actors.
