Black Cap Grille, North Conway
Cocoa Caliente

Add a little heat to your hot cocoa with the Cocoa Caliente.  This hot chocolate is made with Ancho Reyes Chile Liqueur, and topped with whipped cream, a dash of chili powder, and chocolate shavings. Black Cap Grille Bartender Kelly Walker said this about the cocktail "the warmth of the cinnamon and ancho chili in the liquor pairs well with the creamy hot chocolate and makes for a lovely drink on a cold winter day."

Cathedral Ledge Distillery, North Conway
Maple Hot Chocolate
Talk about a wonderful way to warm up after a day on the slopes or a mountain hike. The Maple Hot Chocolate is a favorite in the Cathedral Ledge tasting room when it’s snowy and cold outside. Visitors love combination of hot chocolate with their Organic Maple Liqueur, topped with whipped cream. And before you ask, yes it’s made with 100% pure NH Maple Syrup.

Bretton Woods Resort, Bretton Woods
Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate

For fans of peanut butter cups, this is the hot cocoa cocktail for you! The recipe calls for a mug of hot chocolate mixed with Screwball Peanut Butter Whiskey and topped off with whipped cream. It’s the perfect treat after spending some time on the trails at Bretton Woods. Stop by the Switchback Grille in Rosebrook Lodge to sip and savor this decadent treat.

Inn at Thorn Hill & Spa, Jackson
Black Bear Hot Chocolate

The Black Bear Hot Chocolate is a favorite this time of year at the Inn at Thorn Hill. Their mixologist crafted this hot cocktail by mixing Maker’s Mark Bourbon, Grand Marnier, and chocolate bitters, with hot chocolate, before topping it off whip cream and drizzled chocolate sauce.  Perfect for sipping on its own, or with one of their homemade desserts!

Owl’s Nest Resort, Thornton
The Nutty Irishman

Stop by the Owl’s Nest Panorama Six82 bar for this cocoa creation that is all about warm and cozy. Served with up with Frangelico and Baileys and your choice of hot chocolate or coffee. While the Nutty Irishman has been a best seller this winter season as a hot drink, for those who prefer things a little cooler it can be served on ice too.

The Goat, Manchester
Drunken Frappe

We might just have to call this one dessert in a glass! The Drunken Frappe features frozen hot chocolate made with Jim Bean Vanilla & Vanilla Ice Cream. But we’re not done yet --  roll it in chocolate frosting, crushed sugar cones, top it with whipped cream, chocolate chips and finally a Klondike Ice Cream garnish. Okay, I think we’re done now.
