New Hampshire Live and in Concert

It’s officially summer! And what better way to kick-off the season than with an epic concert in the Granite State? Between classic rock, country blues, famous tribute bands and performances by local musicians—this summer has plenty of fun in store. Check out these 8 concert venues around the state, pick a show, and start your summer in style!

Arts Jubilee Concert Series, North Conway
July 13 – August 10, 2023
The tradition of outstanding live performances continues this summer in the Mt Washington Valley at the Arts Jubilee Summer Concert Series. This summer marks the 40th season of these summer concerts in the Mt Washington Valley.  The series features world-class, live music on a stage at Cranmore Mountain Resort. The season kicks off with Piano Men, a tribute to the music of Billy Joel and Elton John; there’s also a country and western band, pop rock show, and a Van Morrison tribute band too!

Great Waters Summer Concert Series
, Moultonborough
July 8 – August 24, 2023
This summer, the non-profit Great Waters organization is offering an eclectic mix of performances from two venues! Concerts in the Clouds will feature open-air tent seating on the majestic grounds of Castle in the Clouds in Moultonborough; and Concerts in Town will take the stage at Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro. From Neil Diamond and Abba tribute bands to classic rock, jazz, country and a show featuring the original cast members of Jersey Boys, there’s bound to be something everyone will enjoy at one location or both! Lakeport Opera House, Laconia
June 17 – September 2, 2023
The stage at the Lakeport Opera House will be sizzling this summer with an amazing line up of live performances. The season kicks off with Vyntyge Skynyrd a celebration and tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd. Also, on the calendar: Rumours, featuring the rock and roll magic of Fleetwood Mac; Dancing Dream: The Tribute to Abba; Bennie and the Jets – the premier Elton John Tribute Band; Cash is King, a tribute to Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash and so many more not to miss shows! Lynda Cohen Performing Arts Series at Crawford Notch, Bretton Woods
July 15 – August 19, 2023
Sit back and enjoy the sound of music echoing through Crawford Notch. The Appalachian Mountain Club’s summer concert series is back for its third season. These four summer concerts are free to visitors courtesy of longtime AMC member and supporter Lynda Cohen who wanted to bring people from all over together to enjoy music in this most magical setting. Grammy-nominated all women string band, Della Mae will kick off the series. Soul and blues, jug music and bluegrass bands will round out the summer schedule. While the concerts are free, registration is required.

Music on the Green, Canterbury  
July 2 – September 17, 2023
Canterbury Shaker Village’s Music on the Green series is back for its third summer season. The concerts, set amid the Village’s lush green landscape, historic buildings, and peaceful atmosphere are the perfect setting for memorable musical performances. This concert series features all types of music for all ages from bluegrass to Irish fiddling and the sounds of local favorite Peabody Coal Train! Explore the full concert series here.

Sunset Concert Series at Theater in the Wood, Intervale
June 30 - September 1, 2023
Watch the sunset while listening to live music this summer at the Theater in the Wood amphitheater in Intervale. Concerts kick off at 7:30 pm every Friday from June 30th through September 1.  From the musical sounds of Forever Young, a Neil Young tribute band, to Four Sticks, a band recreating Led Zeppelin’s music, to blues, rock, and funk! The Fells Concert & Performance Series, Newbury
June 11 – September 24, 2023
Enjoy live performances at The John Hay Estate at the Fells for an elevated experience this summer. You can pack a picnic and relax among the blossoming estate gardens where sensational music will fill the air each Sunday evening. The Word Barn, Exeter
May 5 – September 2, 2023
Enjoy music in the Word Barn Meadow where intimate performances played under the summer stars will whisk your cares away. From blues bands to pop performances, country and punk rock—you’ll have no trouble picking out the perfect show for you and the gang. Tuesdays on the Terrace Summer Concert Series, Portsmouth
June 20 – August 29, 2023
Sit back, relax, and listen to the sounds of acoustic music filling the air every Tuesday throughout the summer as Tuesdays on the Terrace concerts return to Strawbery Banke. This open-air series features a variety of talented local musicians performing a diverse mix of everything from soul, blues, and bluegrass to R&B, Celtic and Beatles too.
