  1. Cornish-Windsor Bridge (Cornish) Stop by to experience driving through the longest wooden bridge in the US and the longest two-span covered bridge in the world.

  2. Baker-Berry Library (6025 Main Street, Hanover) Oh the places you’ll go in Hanover! Check out the Dr. Suess Room at Dartmouth College’s main library. It’s a tribute to Theodore Geisel (Dr. Suess himself) who graduated from Dartmouth in 1925.

  3. Sculptured Rocks Natural Area (251 Sculptured Rocks Road, Groton) Discover the power of nature as you explore a series of narrow and curious rock formations and potholes carved from the bedrock along the Cockermouth River.   

  4. Mount Kearsarge Indian Museum (18 Highlawn Road, Warner) Take time to explore the museum’s cultural and historic displays of Native American life, and embark on a self-guided tour of the fascinating Medicine Woods nestled within the property.

  5. Vernondale General Store (1526 Route 114, North Sutton) Appreciate the twist of modern conveniences at this old-fashioned general store, where you can fuel up on exceptional burgers and sandwiches or browse the shop for unique gifts and local products.

  6. Muster Field Farm (118 Harvey Road, North Sutton) Enjoy the peaceful grounds of this working farm, where you can explore the historic homestead of Matthew Harvey and enjoy a picnic among the gardens, trails, and storied buildings.  

  7. John Hay Estate at The Fells (456 Route 103, Newbury) Meander through the stunning grounds and gardens at The Fells, and enjoy a chance to get back in touch with nature amid picturesque scenery.

  8. Mount Sunapee State Park (86 Beach Access Road, Newbury) Take advantage of the variety at Mount Sunapee State Park, where you can lounge by the lake, explore the trails up Mount Sunapee, rent a kayak, or simply enjoy the sights.
