Theaters in NH

Set the stage for theatrical entertainment.

Our theater tradition is strong here in New Hampshire. Dramas, musicals, comedies, and operas unfold on indoor and outdoor stages throughout the state, particularly in the summer months. The Barnstormers, founded in Tamworth, New Hampshire, in 1931, is the world's last theater to sustain the tradition of staging eight different plays in eight weeks during its summer run. Look forward to a magical afternoon or evening of live entertainment and enriching memories when you purchase your tickets to a show at a New Hampshire theater.

After a most challenging year, New Hampshire’s Professional Theatre Association is ready to welcome visitors back to enjoy live shows and performances at venues all across the state. The message is a simple one: come and enjoy the shows, safely. Here’s how you can help prepare for the summer season. Click here to view how theatres are getting "back on stage."
